Outpatient services available without referral slips
Patients covered by the Hungarian national health insurance system are entitled to free-of-charge access to speciality outpatient care for disease treatment.
Insured patients may request dermatology medical specialist appointments without the need of obtaining a referral slip from a primary care provider beforehand; no charges will apply.

Obtaining specialist outpatient care
As general for health care services, obtaining specialist outpatient care is subject to presentation of the Social Insurance Identification Code certificate (TAJ card) and a valid photo id (e.g. identity card etc.).

Patients outside Hungarian national health insurance coverage
All the above specialist outpatient units are available to uninsured patients as paid services.
